7. Ladonia
This is also a virtual state, in southern Sweden, in the Kullaberg reserve. This state was founded by the artist Lars Wilks in 1996. There is no permanent population in this state. All residents are divided into 4 classes: there are both ordinary citizens and nobles. Allocate more honorable citizens and saints. The Cabinet of Ministers and the Council of Counties governs this virtual state (there are 6 counties in total in the country). Becoming a citizen of Ladonia is easy. 5. Republic of Konk
This state was founded by Dennis Wardlow, mayor of the town of Key West in April 1982. A US patrol mounted on the highway to fight drugs and immigrants was disturbing Key West residents. Because of it, huge traffic jams appeared. They complained about him, but did not receive an answer. Then the mayor of this town announced that their Florida Keys archipelago is an independent republic, and he is its first president. After that, he declared war on the United States, and a minute later he decided to capitulate. Around this event there was a huge hype. The US authorities did not react to what was happening, but the patrol was removed.
4. Christiania
Denmark has a special quarter in Copenhagen, which is a self-governing state. About a thousand people live on its territory. This state was founded by hippies in September 1971, which once captured the barracks. For a long time, it could not obtain legal status, until in 1995 the inhabitants of this mini-state concluded an agreement and agreed to pay taxes. However, the confrontation between the residents of Christiania and the government still continued, the latter tried to liquidate this state.
3. Asgardia
This is the first state created in space. It is completely free from the influence of other countries. The appearance of Asgardia was first mentioned in October 2016, its founder is Igor Ashurbeyli. After it was announced that it was possible to obtain citizenship in Asgardia, within 3 weeks, applicants filed about 500 thousand applications. But due to strict requirements, about 210 thousand people were able to become citizens of the space state.
